BBC Media Action would like to share the following report - “Life and livelihood in a host community village of Cox’s Bazar”. This report is based on the thematic explorative study where BBC Media Action looked at the host community’s livelihood situation, as well as the perception, motivation, and adaptation mechanisms associated with livelihood activities. We consulted more than hundred host community people via in-depth interviews (IDI), focus group discussions (FGD), community discussions (CD), key informant interviews (KII) and using various participatory rural appraisal (PRA) tools to better understand the community’s current livelihood situation.
